The Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs is responsible for the oversight of curricular development for undergraduate education, and for convening appropriate groups to assist with the implementation of academic policy, curricular proposals, and initiatives to enhance the academic experience.

Undergraduate Curriculum and Courses

The Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs manages all course and curriculum development for undergraduates. Faculty interested in proposing new degree programs, revising current programs, and creating new courses are directed to review the Course and Curriculum Guidelines and Forms and seek assistance as needed from vpue@buffalo.edu.

Approvals of New Degree Programs, Curriculum Revisions, and New Courses for the last three years may be reviewed.

Nominations for the President Emeritus and Mrs. Meyerson Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching and Mentoring are now being accepted.
